Free software

Junto is an independent desktop application maintained by Guilherme Castro. The application is free to use. Project-owned source is licensed under Apache License 2.0.

The license governs use, modification, and redistribution of the software. This page summarizes the project and its distribution; it does not replace or add restrictions to the software license. Read the repository license and the notices included with each release.

Third-party material and names

Dependencies and assets may carry their own licenses, described in the repository and distribution notices. Preserve the notices required by those licenses when redistributing. Apache-2.0 does not grant permission to imply that a modified build is an official release or to use the project's trademarks beyond the license's stated scope.

Official and source builds

Official downloads are linked from the download page. Official macOS releases are signed and notarized. Builds made from the source may differ from official packages and are the responsibility of their distributor.

Official builds run on macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon. Availability and behavior can change between releases.

Your agents and services

You choose the agents, accounts, tools, websites, and machines used with the app. Those services have their own terms and may charge for usage. Inspect actions and outputs and keep appropriate backups. The app's canvas permissions govern its own tools; they are not a sandbox for every action an agent or external tool can perform.

Support and contributions

This is a solo-maintainer project. Bugs and feature requests belong in GitHub Issues. Unsolicited pull requests are not accepted. There is no guaranteed response time, fix, update schedule, or ongoing support commitment.

For vulnerabilities, follow the security reporting policy instead of posting sensitive details in a public issue.

Warranty and liability

The software is provided as is. The warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability in Apache-2.0 and the applicable third-party licenses govern the software, subject to applicable law. Nothing on this page limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Website and contact
